Are you ready for two new drawing lessons? Today we’ll draw a snowflake and an holly, very useful to decorate greeting cards for grandparents, parents or friends!
Con questo metodo base, state imparando a realizzare illustrazioni molto elementari. Cosa fa la differenza fra un disegno base ed una illustrazione?
With this basic method you are learning to create some illustrations very elementary. What makes the difference between a basic drawing and an illustration? The answer it’s simple: it’s you and what your are trying to say with your drawing.
La risposta è semplice: siete voi e quello che comunicate con il vostro disegno.
Come si fa a comunicare qualcosa con un disegno?
Facile: dovete disegnare tantissime volte lo stesso soggetto, fino a che non “vi entra nella mano”. Solo quando sarete abbastanza sicuri delle forme che state disegnando comincerete a metterci qualcosa di vostro. Cambierete qualcosa, magari l’omino di pan di zenzero lo farete con la testa gigante, o con gli occhi piccoli piccoli, o con la cresta punk, PERCHE’ A VOI PIACE COSI’.
How can you say something with a drawing? It’s easy: you must draw many times the same subject, until you got it. Only when you are confident enough with the shapes that you are drawing you can start to change something : for example, you can draw Mr Gingerbread man with a giant head, or with thery small eyes, or with a punk crest! It’s your taste that makes your drawing a personal illustration!
Sarà il vostro gusto a rendere unico il vostro disegno. I bambini lo sanno già fare, in automatico, c’è tanto di loro nei disegni che realizzano. Gli adulti invece perdono subito questa capacità di “esprimersi” con il disegno. E rinunciano per sempre a questa meravigliosa attività.
Allora siete pronti per ricominciare? Partiamo con il fiocco di neve.
So, are you ready? Let’s start with the snowflake.
Step uno e due: disegnate una X al centro del vostro foglio e poi disegnate una linea dritta che incrocia al centro la vostra X
Step one and two: draw an X on your sheet, then draw a straight line crossing the X
Step tre: disegnate della piccole frecce sulle estremità delle linee, rivolte verso il centro del fiocco. Nello spazio rimasto fra le linee disegnate un puntino.
Step three: draw some small arrows at the top of the lines, and six dots between the lines.
Step quattro: unite i puntini con una linea zig zag. Il vostro fiocco è fatto! Potete riempire un’intera pagina di fiocchi, e così avrete realizzato quello che viene chiamato un pattern!
Step four: joint the dots with a zig-zag line. Your snowflake is done! You can fill all the sheet with your snowflakes: that’s a pattern!
E ora passiamo all’agrifoglio.
And now let’s draw the holly.
Step uno: disegnate tre ovali che si incrociano al centro
Step one: draw three ovals that cross each other
Step due: disegnate dentro l’ovale delle linee curve a onda, partendo dal centro verso l’esterno e viceversa.
Step two: draw within the ovals six “waves”, starting from the center towards the outside and back.
Step tre: cancellate gli ovali e disegnate al centro delle vostre foglie tanti piccoli cerchiolini per le bacche.
Step three: erase the ovals and draw in the middle of your leaves some small cricles (the berries).
Ora potete ripassare il disegno con il pennarellino, cancellare la matita, e colorare il vostro agrifoglio!
Now you can retrace the outline with your pen or your brush pen. Then you can erase the pencil below, and color your wonderful drawing!
